What im loving this month-August
Every month i am always excited about something new i have discovered and come to love. Here is what i am loving in August!
Burts Bee's Super Shiny lip gloss in Sweet Pink
I love this natural lip gloss in such a soft pretty pink. This hydrating natural lip gloss is flavored with citrus oils for a yummy orange scent! Makes lips so soft! I got mine @ target for $6.99
Golden eyes: L'Oreal eyeshadow singles in Gilded Bronze & Golden Sunset

I have actually been wearing these shimmery shadows all summer, also makes for a pretty fall time look: I start out with a gold cream shadow base on my lids (cream shadow underneath powder shadow makes the color more vibrant and last longer) Then I follow with the Golden Sunset Color all over lids and inner corners of eye, and i use the Gilded Bronze in the crease and outer corners. Wear with Mascara for a pretty day look and for a sexy night look reapply more golden sunset over lids and line inner lids and upper lash line with black eyeliner. Complete the look with a shimmery bronzer on forehead, nose and chin, pink blush on cheeks, and a pink or nude gloss on lips. Such as the Burts Bee's gloss above!
OPI nail polish in Big Apple Red

At summers end i love bright red polish on fingers and toes! Big Apple red is classic! I store all my nail polish in the refridgerator so they last longer, it really works!
I hope you all enjoy the last of summer! But as for me, im counting down until autumn!

Lip Tips
Nothings really worse than going in for a kiss and realizing your pucker is parched. Here is some tips for kissable lips!
- Hydration is key: Be sure to drink lots of water, because lips are a great indicator of dehydration, if they are dry and parched even after wearing lots of lip balm, drink more water! They are also an indicator of anemia, not looking read and rosy? Check you iron intake.
- Aquaphor healing ointment is great for hydrating lips
- Try to find toothpaste without Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), a detergent used in cleansers and toothpaste. It can cause dryness, irritation or even a contact dermatitis.
- To exfoliate lips, i apply a thick layer of honey and use sugar for an exfoliant. Scrub in a circular motion for at least 90 seconds, then rinse. Honey is a natural hydrator, drawing in moisture from the air to hydrate you lips, while sugar gently exfoliates.
- To get the gunk of you lips before wearing lipstick, wet a q-tip with water and dip in baking soda, then run all over lips and rinse to de-gunk.
- Always use a lip-balm with at least SPF 15 at all time when outside.
I hope these tips help! Mwah!

Stylish Show-Gossip Girl

What has been my favorite show this season? with the exception of Smallville, Supernatural & ANTM, Gossip Girl is definitely my guilty pleasure taking the rank as my favorite show. Before i even knew this show was coming to tv, i had already read every book in the Gossip Girl series. Though i must admit i like the books better than the show, because the characters are so much better described in the book than they are portrayed in the show; with the exception of Blair Waldorf, her character is right on to me. And i must say i would KILL for that wardrobe! The only thing im angry about is that they chose Blake Livey to portray Serena Van der Woodsen. Ugh i dont know why this girl annoys me so much. But i highly suspect it has something to do with the way she speaks and holds her mouth. It just creeps me out for some reason. But anyway i must say this show is defintitely worth watching, but try not to get addicted.

Hair Helpers

Everyone wants to have beautiful, healthy hair. We are constantly striving towards it, well hopefully these tips make it a little easier to achieve!
- For hair thats really dry on the ends, massage olive oil onto dry hair five minutes before showering. Rinse and shampoo as usual!
- For a itchy/flaky scalp crush one aspirin and mix with olive oil. Massage onto wet scalp in shower and shampoo. The salicylic acid helps exfoliate dead skin.
- Mix one tablespoon each of lemon juice and white vinegar with shampoo, and wash as usual. This makes hair super shiny!
- For blonde hair saturate hair with tomato juice to help counteract fading. wrap hair in a shower cap, and heat with a blow-dryer for 5 minutes before shampooing.
- For brunettes, add 1/4 cup vinegar to 3/4 cup water, and work through washed, towel-dryed hair to boost the vibrancy of strands. Rinse after 2-3 minutes.
- For redheads, for great shine, mix 4 teaspoons grapeseed oil with 2 drops of rosemary oil. coat on dry hair, put on a shower cap and heat for 5 minutes, then shampoo.
- For all hair colors, coat hair from roots to ends with jojoba oil, a wonderful natural condtioner. Leave on for one hour then shampoo for soft, shiny strands!
I really hope some of these tips help! More later!
